A PRACTICE FOR
REAL LIFE
A LITTLE PAUSE IN YOUR WEEK
Life can be busy. Our classes offer a warm, judgement-free place to breathe a little deeper, move with intention and leave feeling more grounded. No competition, no pressure and no need to be flexible.
HELLO, I'M SARA
Warmly, Shanti Sara
I've been practising yoga for over 16 years, and following my heart led me to become a certified Sivananda Hatha Yoga Teacher (Siromani).
This summer, I started teaching a small yoga class in the park. What began as a simple idea grew into a lovely group of 8–10 wonderful souls. Watching our friendly community grow week by week has been an absolute joy.
As the seasons change, we're bringing our practice indoors to a cosy studio space. Whether you've joined me before or are stepping onto a yoga mat for the very first time, there's a place for you here.

Each 75-minute class follows the balanced principles of classical Sivananda Hatha Yoga, with room to listen to your own body and find your own pace.
Pranayama breathing practices to settle the mind, bring awareness to the present and create a sense of calm.
Accessible asanas (yoga postures) to gently build strength, mobility, balance and body awareness.
A restorative final relaxation to let go of tension and leave feeling centred, refreshed and recharged.
OUR CLASSES & POSTURES
A little glimpse of the practice — from sunlit sessions in the park to gentle stretching and quiet moments of mindfulness.
PARK YOGA · COMMUNITY SESSIONS
Our little community began outdoors, practising together on the grass. Fresh air, soft evening light and friendly faces — a lovely way to reconnect with your breath and with nature.
HATHA YOGA & STRETCHING
Classical Hatha postures held with awareness — opening the body, building strength and releasing tension. Every posture can be adapted, so you can always work at your own pace.
MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS
Every class ends with deep relaxation, and we take time to simply sit, breathe and notice. No experience needed — just a few quiet minutes to arrive, settle and feel at home in yourself.
Join us on the mat →You don't have to be good at yoga.
You just have to show up.
Bring your breath, your body and whatever kind of day you've had.

A FEW GENTLE ANSWERS
Not at all. Beginners are very welcome. I'll encourage you to work at a pace that feels comfortable for your body.
You don't need to be flexible to start yoga. The practice is about awareness, breathing and meeting yourself where you are — not achieving a perfect pose.
Wear comfortable clothes that let you move. Please ask when booking whether mats and any other equipment are provided, or bring your own mat if you have one.
Yes, please reserve your place before attending. The venue has limited space so we can keep the class comfortable and intimate.
Yoga can often be adapted, but it may not be suitable for every condition or circumstance. Please let Sara know about any injuries, health concerns or access needs when you book your first class.
YOGA CURIOSITIES
FROM THE JOURNAL
Ever watched a cat wake from a nap? Before doing anything else, it stretches — front paws reaching long, hips lifted, spine lengthening, with no rush at all. Yoga borrowed the idea long ago: Marjaryasana, or Cat Pose, takes its name from the Sanskrit word for cat.
On hands and knees you round the spine towards the ceiling, then lift the chest into Cow Pose (Bitilasana) as you breathe in. Together they make a gentle warm-up for the back and a lovely way to link movement with breath. The stretch our model is enjoying above is closer to Downward-Facing Dog — another pose inspired by animals.
YOUR MAT IS WAITING
